Ron Chow

Ron Chow is the Chief Strategy Officer of Baguio Green Group, one of the largest environmental groups in Hong Kong with around 7,000 employees. He is a Subject Matter Expert in circular economy, recycling, green technology, waste management, corporate strategy, innovation, M&A/investments/partnerships, and ESG-related government policies. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) designations. He graduated from the Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Ron has led numerous pioneering circular economy and sustainability projects for the HKSAR Government (“Government”). Key achievements include developing the Smart Recycling Machine & Big Data Platform, AI-powered Smart Toilet solutions, bioconversion technology for chicken waste and marine cleaning in Hong Kong. He advises the Government on various circular economy and waste management strategies, including Waste Charging Schemes, Producer Responsibility Scheme on Plastic Beverage Containers and Beverage Cartons, and environmental policies related to Hong Kong Budget 2026/27.

He is also an active speaker in various recycling, circular economy, green technology and sustainability related forums.
