Clement Chung

As the Principal Manager of Procurement & Supply Chain at CLP Holdings Limited, Clement is responsible for overseeing and implementing CLP’s Group Procurement Standard, in collaboration with leaders of Procurement functions across different regions of the CLP Group, including Hong Kong, China, Australia, and India; also, he undertakes commercial reviews of all major investment projects within these regions. Besides, Clement serves as the Chairman of the Professional Development Committee of the Hong Kong Branch of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). Previously, he was the Principal Manager of Procurement (Power Transmission & Distribution) at CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, where he managed end-to-end procurement processes for categories related to power transmission and distribution equipment and related engineering services. Prior to joining CLP, Clement worked as a consultant at several multinational companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Accenture, and Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets), providing project management and consultancy services in the fields of IT and Procurement.

Clement has an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Sc. in Finance from CUHK, an M.Sc.(Eng.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from HKU, and a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Computer Science from HKU. He holds professional qualifications of MCIPS (Chartered Status) and MIET (Member of The Institution of Engineering & Technology).
