Jonathan Tostevin

Jonathan is CEO of Muuse, a smart platform for returnable packaging in Asia and North America. Muuse works with clients like Starbucks, SaladStop and Swire Properties to make reuse second nature, building reuse ecosystems that provide a simple and convenient alternative to single-use packaging.

Jonathan began his career with the UK Government, specialising in international development in Africa. He made the transition to ‘business with purpose’ 8 years ago with Belu Water, and shortly after moving to Singapore, co-founded the circular economy start-up Muuse in a bid to reduce global single-use waste. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his young family, swim and eat good food.

My Sustainability Goals for 2024:

– 100% increase in reusable packaging reused and returned
– Greater support for vendors in transitioning to reusable packaging
– A smart reuse station on every street corner (this may be a longer-term goal!)
