Teresa Ko

Often described as an icon in Hong Kong’s legal sector, Teresa Ko completed a 37-year career with Freshfields ( 32 years as partner) , China Chairman, and founder of its Asia equity capital markets practice. Advised on numerous landmark IPOs and M&A transactions, she was the first woman to chair the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Listing Committee, and held key public and international roles, including appointments with the SFC and HKMA, Co-Vice Chair of the IFRS Foundation, Chair of its Due Process Committee, and contributor to the establishment of the International Sustainability Standards Board. Co- founded Pedal Power, a cycling fundraiser supporting youth leadership, and founded Metier Minus, a registered charity promoting circularity in luxury fashion and empowering youth in HK . Currently she serves on the advisory committee of HKUST Business School, the finance and business committee of M+, and she is a Non-Executive Director of Chanel Limited.
